A Pause | 停下來
As we move forward into 2012 by faith and confidence in what our God is capable, willing, and equipped to do for the people of Tibet through the Touching Hearts program, we pause to pray and acknowledge His steadfast hand in our lives. Our dear friends and co-workers (Gail and Daniel) are currently in Chengdu. Gail is undergoing treatments for breast cancer that was found in November. Daniel is close to her each day and both of their families have surrounded them with support and care while they navigate the treatment plan and everything else that comes with the news of this illness. Their greater “Family” is growing because of the grace and peace that they share even in such a difficult time. They are confident in the hand of God and know that He is able and willing to turn a situation for good that He may be glorified.
I will be traveling to see them and their family in December. We know for certain that our God is a good God who answers prayer and that He is the master physician. 懷著信心和坦然無懼的心，我們邁向二○一二年，知道我們的神有能力且願意。經由“動心事工”， 祂使我們能接觸西藏人。我們停下來禱告，稱頌祂堅定的手在我們生命中動工。我們親愛的朋友和同工Gail 和 Daniel 目前在成都。今年十一月Gail發現自己得了乳癌，目前正在接受治療。Daniel每天陪伴著她。雙方家人都以支持和關心環繞他們，讓他們從得知患病到安排醫療方案，可以一步一步走下去。他們的大“家庭”不斷擴展，因為他們即使是在如此困難的時候仍流露出恩典與平安。他們在神的手中有信心，知道祂能夠並且願意使這樣的情況變為祝福，好叫祂得榮耀。
