Meet the Staff

Mark Geppert, President
Mark Geppert is the President and founder of the South East Asia Prayer Center. He has taught Prayer Walking Seminars, Businessmen’s Micro-Economic Kingdom Principles, and Team Building Seminars to leaders in Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, and throughout the United States of America. His radio and television experience has made him noted as a “master communicator.” Mark has over 35 years of international experience in over thirty countries and has authored four books. The first, The Attack Lambs, has over fifty thousand copies in print and is in translation for ten languages. Mark is ordained through Elim Fellowship of Rochester, New York, has served on the staff of several churches in the United States, and has most recently established and pastored the English speaking congregation of the Church of Singapore (Bukit Timah). He is currently teaching, networking, overseeing, and inspiring existing projects and new avenues for sustainability and evangelization. Go to www.seapc.org for details. Email Mark
Ellie Geppert, Vice President
Ellie Geppert graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Education and received a master’s equivalency certificate from University of Pittsburgh as a Reading Specialist. She is licensed to preach from Dayspring Christian Center and has been married for 40 years to Mark Geppert – missionary extraordinaire – as his help-mate (two educated, married, Jesus loving sons ages 34 and 30, 1 precious grandson). She has served as an elementary school teacher – US, missions school teacher – Guatemala, Christian Education Director – US, Women’s Ministry Director – Guatemala, US and Singapore, and as Administrator for South East Asia Prayer Center for 20 years. Matthew Geppert, U.S. Director
Matt joined SEAPC as an intern in 2003 and was hired as a regional representative for southwestern Pennsylvania in 2004. He then became SEAPC/US Director in 2007 and moved with his wife, Jessica, to California. In 2009, they moved back to Oakmont, PA and welcomed their first child, Avery Joshua Geppert. In 2010, Matt was asked to become the Vice President of SEAPC. The Gepperts sponsor two children in India through SEAPC Raising Kids and sponsored the cure for Puo Ma La Mu, a heart patient in Tibet. Matt graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies. He loves football, rugby, fly fishing, trekking, geography, and the Spirit of God. Email Matt
Jessica Geppert
Jessica became the SEAPC Coins for Kids Coordinator in the summer of 2010. She and Matthew Geppert have been married since August of 2006 and they welcomed their son, Avery Joshua, in November of 2009. She can be contacted for information about Coins for Kids. Tina Tomes, U.S./Cambodia Coordinator
Tina started in the SEAPC office in late 2005. She and her husband, Mark Tomes, have 2 cats (Lizzie and Jason) and greatly enjoy being sponsor parents through Raising Kids. Dena Ley
Dena joined SEAPC in 2008 after she graduated with a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. Dena has one daughter and enjoys spending time with friends and family. You can contact Dena for Prayer Requests and Tibet-related questions. Email Dena
Shelly Marsh
Shelly Marsh began working at SEAPC in September 2007 after her youngest started full day kindergarten. She helps her husband, Donnie, with his work as Student Ministries Pastor and is mom to Cierra and David, along with her work as Financial Administrator for SEAPC. She traveled with her husband and daughter to Cambodia this past year, where they met and began sponsoring a little girl. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and experimenting with making healthy foods.

Tony Wimer
Tony started with SEAPC at the end of March 2011. Tony recently was married to Erin in 2009. He graduated in May 2011 from Point Park University with a BS in Business Management with focus in accounting and marketing. Tony will be starting on a second bachelors in the fall for Bible and Theology from Global University. His interests are friends, family, Pittsburgh sports, and church league softball. Christie Pink
SEAPC began partnering with Christie and her company, Embassy Design, in 2004. She designs and coordinates the print materials, website and multi-media communications for SEAPC. Her family includes husband Steve, daughter Takaila and a sponsor son and daughter in Cambodia… as well as 2 dogs, and 1 cat. Christie loves everything outdoors, ping pong and laughing with family and friends. Email Christie
