Changing a Bad Day
Have you ever had a bad day? A day that makes you dread each minute because, as the time goes by, things just seem to be getting worse? I had a day like that recently.
It started by sitting in traffic, then I was late to babysit my niece and nephew, next my one-year-old niece fell and bloodied her lip, and finally I almost ran out of gas on the turnpike! As I drove home from the gas station, I could finally take a deep breath and calm down. I could finally relax … and that’s when God put the day into perspective.
I realized how thankful I was that my niece just needed some ice and not stitches. I thanked God for getting me to the gas station safely and for the money I had to fill my tank. I was so grateful that I prayed God would use me to help someone else during their bad day.
By collecting coins, even just a few cents at a time, the SEAPC Coins for Kids campaign is doing just that. Won’t you partner with us and begin collecting your spare change? The fall campaign is underway and we want to ensure kids around the world will have less bad days!
