This is the Confidence

Knowing it is Christ in us; the Hope of Glory, knowing we are life-changers in Him, having the Word of God in our hearts, and realizing everyone is searching for the Words of LIFE and it is His will that everyone has the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior …
… Our prayer walking team in Florida (after Mark’s Attack Lambs seminar) went to a spiritist community to pray – yes, crystal balls, tarot cards, séances, witches, warlocks, and evil. There were whole blocks of houses, a hotel, a café, and a worship center and a teaching center for the occult. It all looked old and run down and, dare I say, dingy and cluttered and crowded even though the buildings were brick and their houses were painted brightly. But that makes perfect sense because that is how darkness feels — especially the “closing in on you” feeling. This community was in a country setting, surrounded by wooded areas where we felt that it was there they would gather for sacrifices and/or malicious intent if there was any. The readers and fortune tellers were the money makers, charging $100 a visit from the unsuspecting clients who became hooked on the counterfeit gifts of the spirit these people gave them.
There were about 10 of us and we split up to walk and pray. We walked around and through and inside the public places, praying to the Lord for breakthrough to the people. No one responded to conversation or approached us to talk. They did not even ask if we wanted their services. We all definitely felt watched. Our team was mostly people who had not been this close to the occult activity before and some even had avoided this area, understandably. Today, our take away from prayer walking was: we need to do this again and, wow, we can do this! We have the wisdom to do it as a group. We gained the confidence in Him that if we ask for these souls, Lord, You will hear us and if we ask for this evil to be dispelled and taken away, You are able and will hear our petition. Will it be immediate? It would take His Mighty Hand. It is rooted in and needs plowed up. We were really encouraged that there is a Christian independent church called Dunamis (Power) there. Some of the group felt convicted to be more encouraging to the church there and learn what they are doing. This was not a task for one or two people because there are so many involved. But, by prayer walking, we are laying the axe to the roots.
Pray with us for an end to this community as an occult center. Lord, take back this land for Your Glory and the freedom of those caught in bondage, without knowledge and mercy for those led purposefully against You, choosing to worship the devil.
