Praise the Lord for His great love for us and never ending patience as, walking in relationship with Him, we seek to know more fully His ways, His thoughts, and especially His word for us.
You are receiving this letter from me because you are an old friend with whom I have walked for years or a new friend who has downloaded the Attack Lambs training or gone on a short term trip with SEAPC. Globally, you may have attended a Friends Around the Table in which case your name has been added to my prayer and communication folder. However we got together, I trust you will find this letter in your email inbox at 10 AM East Coast, USA time each Friday.
I am writing to you as a peer and a co-worker in Christ. As we seek His person, plan, and purpose, He will reveal to us His ongoing direction for our lives and ministries. This, of course, assumes a time each day to meet with the Lord in prayer and the joy of a dialogue with Him. God speaks to us corporately through His word, the Logos. He also speaks to us through a timely or personal word, Rhema. John 15:7 records the teaching of Jesus that if we abide, continue, adapt our lives to the Logos, and the Rhema lives in us, then we can ask the Father what we will and it will be done for us.
This powerful prayer promise has become reality in our lives.
SEAPC/ Friends Around the Table gatherings are a testimony of answered prayers in which people of all nations have shared the promise God spoke to them, which has become a ministry vision, which has delivered world- changing blessing to their neighbors and nations. We are seeing the vision of a community related through prayer bringing blessing to the nations, a prayer-based global community meeting the needs of children. You and I are a small part of a wonderfully big thing that our Lord is doing as all nations are drawn to Him in prayer. We speak many different languages; but, we are united in the language of prayer. God is for us, God is with us, and God is in us.
In these letters, PI2PO (Press In To Press On) we will be encouraged by the promises of Hebrews 11 and Isaiah 55. Hopefully these Logos expressions will bring us to Rhema-based faith, to trust the Lord with all of our heart and lean not to our own understanding; but in all our ways, acknowledge Him so that our paths are directed of the Holy Spirit to those destinies that He has predetermined. We want to walk in His ways.
When we received Jesus, we were born again. The Holy Spirit touched our human spirit and a new being was created. The word of salvation was the first Rhema to which we responded; but not the first Rhema spoken to us. God knew you in Christ before the worlds were formed by His word. He has a perfect plan for you and you are the perfect person for that plan. In these letters we will explore discovering, developing, and delivering that plan to the nations. We will find a great and wonderful loving God, a Spiritual Father, who through the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. Truth about ourselves and about His plan for those around us.
Thank you for your prayers for me. I am pressing in to a Rhema promise; so that I can press on in serving the Lord.
